The University of Perugia, Italy, founded on 1307, is one of the most ancient academia in Italy.

 

 

The Engineering school of University of Perugia provides training/research activities in the fields of civil, mechanical, environmental, informatics and energy engineering. The CIRIAF group participating to ZERO-PLUS is a multidisciplinary team which main research skills consist of thermal-energy analysis of buildings, energy efficiency in buildings by means of innovative materials, optimization of indoor and outdoor microclimate in urban areas, environmental sustainability and LCA activity, integration of renewables into the built environment. The role of UNIPG within the framework of ZERO-PLUS initiative consists of coordinating, developing and optimizing the environmental comfort and the integration of energy systems at settlement scale.
